Quick Summary (TL;DR)
- Lifetime course access. Once you purchase a course, it’s yours for life. We won’t revoke it unless you violate these terms.
- No refunds after access. Once you can access course materials, sales are final.
- Your content stays yours. Reviews and comments you post remain your property—we just display them with your first name.
- Play fair. No spam, fraud, or account sharing. We’ll terminate accounts that violate these terms.

1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using World Tea Academy (https://www.worldteaacademy.com), you agree to these Terms of Service.
If you don’t agree, don’t use the Site.
About Us:
- World Tea Academy is a Wyoming-registered LLC currently operating from Australia
- We provide online tea education courses and certifications
- These terms apply to all users globally
2. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do:
- We’ll update the “Last Updated” date at the top
- We’ll notify you via email or a notice on the Site for significant changes
- Continued use of the Site after changes = you accept the new terms
3. Account Registration
To purchase and access courses, you need to create an account.
3.1 Account Requirements
- You must be at least 13 years old
- You must provide accurate information (name, email, billing address)
- You’re responsible for keeping your password secure
- One account per person—no sharing accounts
3.2 Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraud or abuse
- Share course materials illegally
- Attempt to circumvent payment or access restrictions
If we terminate your account for violations, you lose access to all courses—no refunds.
4. Course Access & Lifetime Promise
4.1 Lifetime Access
When you purchase a course, you get lifetime access. This means:
- You can access the course forever
- Your progress and certifications are maintained permanently
- We won’t delete your account due to inactivity
- Course content may be updated or improved, but you’ll always have access
4.2 What Lifetime Access Doesn’t Mean
- We can discontinue courses. If we retire a course, you’ll keep access to existing materials, but we won’t be obligated to update or maintain it.
- Technology changes. If our platform changes, we’ll migrate your access, but the format or delivery method might change.
- You can lose access if you violate terms. Abuse or fraud = account termination.
4.3 Course Enrollment
- Course purchases are for personal use only
- You cannot share login credentials or course materials
- Courses are for individual learning—not for resale or redistribution
5. Payments & Refunds
5.1 Pricing
- All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated
- Prices are subject to change, but you’ll pay the price listed at the time of purchase
- Sales tax may apply depending on your location
5.2 Payment Processing
- We use Stripe to process payments securely
- Your payment information is handled by Stripe—we never see your full card details
- By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge you
5.3 Refund Policy
No refunds after course access is granted. Here’s why:
- Once you can access course materials, you’ve received the product
- Digital products can’t be “returned” like physical goods
- We provide course previews and descriptions so you can make informed decisions
Exception: If you experience technical issues preventing access within 14 days of purchase, contact us at wta@australianteamasters.com.au and we’ll work with you (refund or technical fix).
5.4 Chargebacks
Filing a fraudulent chargeback = immediate account termination and loss of all course access.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Our Content
Course materials, videos, text, images, and content on the Site are either:
- Created by World Tea Academy (we own it)
- Licensed to us (e.g., stock images from Shutterstock)
- Used under open licenses with proper attribution (e.g., Wikipedia content under Creative Commons)
World Tea Academy trademarks and branding are owned by us.
You cannot:
- Download or copy course videos or materials (except PDFs we provide—those are for your personal use only, not for sharing)
- Record, screenshot, or share course content publicly
- Distribute, sell, resell, or share any course materials with others
- Use our trademarks or branding without permission
You can:
- Access courses for personal learning
- Reference what you learned in your own work (but don’t copy our materials)
- Share your certification publicly (that’s what it’s for!)
6.2 Your Content
If you post reviews, comments, images, or other content on our Site, you keep ownership.
You give us permission to display your content on our Site and marketing materials (we’ll only show your first name with reviews). That’s it—we won’t sell it or claim ownership. You can delete your content anytime.
Your Responsibilities:
- Don’t post content you don’t have rights to
- Don’t post spam, offensive, or illegal content
- We can remove content that violates these terms
7. Prohibited Uses
Don’t use the Site to:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe on anyone’s intellectual property
- Transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or bypass security measures
- Scrape, harvest, or collect user data without consent
- Impersonate others or create fake accounts
- Spam, harass, or abuse other users
- Share accounts or login credentials
- Use the Site for any commercial purpose without our permission
8. Shipping & Physical Products
If you order physical products (e.g., tea samples, materials):
- We ship via Australia Post
- Shipping times vary by location
- You’re responsible for providing accurate shipping information
- We’re not liable for lost or delayed shipments (contact the carrier)
- Physical product refunds are handled case-by-case—contact us
9. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability
9.1 No Warranties
The Site and courses are provided “as is.” We don’t guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free access
- That courses will meet your specific needs or expectations
- That certifications will lead to employment or specific outcomes
9.2 Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, World Tea Academy is not liable for:
- Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
- Loss of data or access due to technical issues
- Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the course in question.
9.3 Australian Consumer Law
If you’re in Australia, the Australian Consumer Law provides certain guarantees that cannot be excluded. Nothing in these Terms limits those statutory rights.
10. Third-Party Links & Services
Our Site may link to third-party websites or services (e.g., payment processors, social media). We’re not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms.
Use third-party services at your own risk.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these Terms.
What happens if we terminate your account:
- You lose access to all courses
- No refunds for terminated accounts
- You must stop using any course materials
You can delete your account at any time by emailing privacy@australianteamasters.com.au. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
12. Governing Law & Disputes
12.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12.2 Dispute Resolution
If you have a dispute with us:
- Contact us first. Email wta@australianteamasters.com.au and we’ll try to resolve it.
- Informal resolution. We’ll work with you in good faith to find a solution.
- Legal action. If we can’t resolve it, disputes will be handled in Wyoming courts (or your local jurisdiction if required by law).
12.3 Australian Users
If you’re in Australia and have a complaint, you can also contact the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) or your local consumer protection agency.
13. General Provisions
13.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and World Tea Academy.
13.2 Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
13.3 No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision doesn’t waive our right to enforce it later.
13.4 Assignment
We can transfer these Terms to another entity (e.g., in a merger or sale). You can’t transfer your account or course access to anyone else.
