The program consists of a Core Level Curriculum of six tea classes plus an additional elective tea class of your choice from the Advanced Tea Curriculum (ADV). This ADV elective tea class can also be used to begin an Advanced Certification track as well! So, be sure to look at our ADVANCED Certifications and choose an elective that fits well with the ADVANCED Tea Certification path you are seeking. In these tea classes, weeks one and two of each session will focus on the key material content for the topic and week three involves taking the final exam and a series of cuppings – a skill you will hone throughout your tea certification. Week four allows time to finish all the assignments and tests. Once you complete the first two tea courses, you can jump around and achieve your WTA Certified Tea Specialist™, CORE level tea certification in as little as four months. The Certified Tea Specialist™ CORE level tea certification requires the completion of these 7 online tea courses.

The recommendation is to start with CORE.01 and .02 and then take the remaining CORE tea classes in any order as fits your schedule. You will be required to have two CORE.01 Cupping sets or its equivalent to take all the CORE classes.
