This course was very useful to me to understand what goes into formulating tea blends. It was fun to create my own breakfast blend of black teas. I thoroughly enjoyed blending various botanicals into tea and learning how to determine a formula between percentages and resulting grams. I feel more comfortable being able to create even more blends on my own for my own pleasure. I can turn my own kitchen into a tea science lab.

I was less excited about this course than some of the tea based courses, but I actually found it very interesting and informative and really will help me in formulating blends and utilizing other plants outside of camellia sinensis.

I loved everything about this class. I've never meditated before and the guided meditation videos were very helpful.

All of the Core classes have been invaluable in furthering my knowledge, this one is no exception.

Each course is fascinating and I am continuously surprised by the life of tea. I was really excited for cupping this round and feel that I am strengthening my 5 senses each time I practice. I also enjoyed the week 3 instructor assignments - creating your own blend and the sensory sheet organization system. I am looking forward to Core 3. Thanks for a great course!

Great info and interesting assignments

I liked the feedback from Lisa (very informative beyond the class) and also the organized structure of the materials.

I prefer interaction with real people and would love to have the option for some live Q&A and discussion. Otherwise, the information was great, well-presented, and the instructor feedback was helpful.

Very well scientific and well-researched. Honestly, I was very impressed. I have a science background so I loved all the details. If you don't have science background, be prepared for some intense reading.

Loved being able to learn how to flavor and blend different ingredients into the teas.

I enjoy this course of study so much! It is though I can travel through the teas as I learn about them and the regions where they are grown.

I really enjoyed this course. I've taken an introductory class from another school and, while it was also very well done, this class gave me so much more information. I especially love all the scientific information. The videos are very helpful also.

I loved the part about grading and particularly the history of the Orange Pekoe system in India

I really enjoyed the videos that showed assessing the types of teas and also of cupping
