Get started on our brand-new certification inspired by the massive popularity and interest in tea blending throughout the tea community.WTA will be launching three new classes to complete this new advanced level track. The curriculum’s breadth and depth ensure that every student who completes the Tea Blender track will have the information, resources and skills needed to conceptualize, create and launch new tea blends as well as to flavor and scent teas and other botanicals.
Each of these advanced classes have been written by highly-regarded tea industry specialists and professionals who have generously shared their knowledge and expertise through these classes.

Complete the seven following classes to become a WTA Certified Tea Blender™:

ADV.12* – Formulating Delicious Blends – by Virginia Utermohlen, Taste Scientist
ADV.13* – Art of Flavoring, Blending, Scenting Part 1 – By Brian Keating of Sage Group LLC
ADV.14* – Art of Flavoring, Blending, Scenting Part 2 –
*Each of these classes has a pre-requisite:
ADV.09 – CORE.06 is a pre-requisite.
ADV.12 – ADV.02 is a pre-requisite.
ADV.13 – ADV.11 is a pre-requisite.
ADV.14 – ADV.13 is a pre-requisite.
Please Note: Anyone with a basic knowledge of the six types of tea can take these classes. But, you must have earned a WTA Certified Tea Specialist™, certification to receive any Advanced Level Certification
